Yesterday, we wrapped up our 2-day Financial Literacy Workshop in Tsumeb!

From entrepreneurial testimonials to practical financial insights, participants gained valuable knowledge on business growth, securing loans, and financial discipline.

Ms Victoria Shilongo, a speaker, shared her inspiring journey of resilience. Starting with just N$1,000, she overcame setbacks and built a thriving pie business known across Tsumeb.

Bank Windhoek & Nedbank Namibia provided key guidance on business accounts, loans, and digital payment solutions. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and gain case-specific financial literacy knowledge, ensuring they left empowered.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Gottlieb Ndjendjela, Tsumeb Councillor, encouraged participants to apply what they learned and uplift Tsumeb through business.

To close off the workshop, Ms Uajorokisa Karuaihe & Hon. Ndjendjela handed over certificates to all participants and prizes to the 6 winners, celebrating their dedication.
